Love Letter – Game Review

Description:

Love LetterLove Letter is an exciting game to do a game review about! It’s a game of risk, deduction, and luck for 2–4 players. Your goal is to get your love letter into Princess Annette’s hands while deflecting the letters from competing suitors. From a deck with only sixteen cards, each player starts with only one card in hand; one card is removed from play. On a turn, you draw one card, and play one card, trying to expose others and knock them from the game. Powerful cards lead to early gains but make you a target. Rely on weaker cards for too long, however, and your letter may be tossed in the fire, (boardgamegeek.com)!

Review:

Bottom line, there’s no reason you should pass on Love Letter, particularly as it’s affordable! Love Letter is a popular game during game night, and it’s easy to teach and learn. It’s simple, draw a card, play a card, stay in the game! It’ you’re good at reading faces, it will make this game even more enjoyable! Love letter also scales well with 2-4 players due to the burned card system, but it’s certainly better with 4. Even hardcore gamers can have fun with this one.
