Love Letter – Game Review

Love LetterLove Letter is an exciting game to do a game review about! It’s a game of risk, deduction, and luck for 2–4 players. Your goal is to get your love letter into Princess Annette’s hands while deflecting the letters from competing suitors. From a deck with only sixteen cards, each player starts with only one card in hand; one card is removed from play. On a turn, you draw one card, and play one card, trying to expose others and knock them from the game. Powerful cards lead to early gains but make you a target. Rely on weaker cards for too long, however, and your letter may be tossed in the fire, (!

Bottom line, there’s no reason you should pass on Love Letter, particularly as it’s affordable! Love Letter is a popular game during game night, and it’s easy to teach and learn. It’s simple, draw a card, play a card, stay in the game! It’ you’re good at reading faces, it will make this game even more enjoyable! Love letter also scales well with 2-4 players due to the burned card system, but it’s certainly better with 4. Even hardcore gamers can have fun with this one.
